"We have dedicated extensive research and development to perfect the chemistry behind our ProTact laminates, which are now available in all Multicam patterns with non-PFAS finish options," said Samit Sadavarte, director, business development – new markets at Haartz. "At Haartz, our commitment to quality means we take the time to get the science exactly right. Our customers expect exceptional quality and performance, and we're continuing to deliver that with our PFAS-free ProTact offering. Our dedication to innovation will never compromise on the premium standards our products are known for."
MultiCam is a unique combat-proven pattern and a leading name in concealment pattern solutions. Originally issued for use by the US Army for its Afghanistan operations in 2010, MultiCam offers camouflages that incorporate unique high-resolution patterns designed using tests that studied how camouflage works in nature.
ProTact by Haartz is a Berry Amendment compliant line of advanced multi-layer technical laminates specifically developed for military, law enforcement, SWAT teams, and other tactical applications. Available in multiple colors and patterns, with PFAS-free DWR finish options, these materials deliver exceptional durability and versatility. ProTact serves as a versatile replacement to the widely used Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) system due to the high-energy laser ablation cutting processes that can be used when manufacturing tactical vests and other equipment. Laser ablation prevents fabric tearing and allows for attachment points to be placed anywhere on the fabric and provides flexibility for applying webbing features in various sizes, shapes and locations.
ProTact by Haartz is available to large-scale manufacturers and smaller individual companies in the United States and Europe. Multicam constructions are available in a 500x1000d yarn structure construction. Orders of Multicam come standard with patterns on the 500d surface and a complimentary solid color on the 1000d surface. Custom constructions are available upon request.
