Haartz Sponsors 2019 Ragtop Ramble, Showcases Leading Softtop Material
Annual New England Motor Press Association event features ride and drive

Acton, Mass. (July 19, 2019) – The Haartz Corporation, a leading supplier of convertible softtop material, sponsored and participated in the New England Motor Press Association’s (NEMPA) 2019 Ragtop Ramble and Crustacean Crawl July 17-18, 2019. The event started at the Larz Anderson Automotive Museum in Brookline, Massachusetts and ended at the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport, Maine. Among the participating open-air vehicles were the BMW M850i Convertible, Jeep Gladiator, Mazda Miata and Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary. Additionally, the 10 Millionth Ford Mustang GT Convertible to come off the OEMs production line was onsite.

“We enjoy sponsoring the New England Press Association for Ragtop Ramble and getting feedback from attendees about the latest softtops,” said Matt Williams, director of business development for Haartz. “With insights from leaders in the industry we can continue developing and improving our materials.”

The festivities began on Wednesday with a Boston Harbor Cruise in the evening. The next morning, the participating vehicles were on display at the museum so attendees could make the nearly 100-mile drive up the east coast. The ride ended at the Colony Hotel, where guests enjoyed a traditional New England lobster lunch.

Haartz hosted a social media contest for a chance to win a $250 Amazon gift card. To enter, guests posted a selfie video from the passenger seat of the vehicle while giving an honest review of its ride. The winner was Rick DeMeis with his review of a Kia K900 and what it would be like if it were a convertible. Ragtop Ramble is only open to NEMPA members and special guests.
