Haartz Featured on New Convertibles at the 2015 LA Auto Show

Haartz Corporation Supplies Softtop Material to the Freshest Convertibles Unveiled During the Los Angeles Auto Show


Los Angeles (November 19, 2015) The 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show and the sunny streets of California marked the prime opportunity for automakers to debut their freshest convertibles featuring softtop material from the Haartz Corporation.


At the show, Jaguar Land Rover debuted the company’s first ever convertible SUV – the Range Rover Evoque. The Evoque uses Haartz high-performance acoustically enhanced three-ply topping with acrylic twill weave facing, rubber inner-layer and polyester dobby backing called Sonnenland A5B/DS. The vehicle goes on sale early next year and will have Haartz topping material in black.


Fiat debuted the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider two-seater convertible. Expected to hit dealer lots next summer, the convertible uses Haartz Stayfast C convertible softtop technology. It is a fabric laminate material with an acrylic square weave facing, rubber inner-layer and filament polyester backing and available in black.


Volkswagen showcased the Beetle Denim Limited Edition convertible featuring the Haartz Denim fabric.  The   topping material is a special offering from Haartz called the Twillfast RPC HT (high-tech) Weave. This material is an acoustically enhanced three-ply topping with acrylic twill weave facing, rubber inner-layer and polyester dobby backing.  The vehicle is available in the colors pure white or stonewashed blue and the dark blue Denim soft top is the perfect piece to complete the vehicle’s look.
