Denim-Topped Volkswagen Beetle Debuts at 2015 New York International Auto Show

Acton, Massachusetts (April 8, 2015): The 2015 New York International Auto Show kicked off last week and among the many new vehicle debuts, Volkswagen announced four new Beetle Special Edition concepts: Beetle Convertible Denim, Beetle R-Line, Beetle Convertible Wave and Beetle Pink Color Edition. The Wave and Denim will be offered as soft-top convertibles.

“The addition of these two new Beetle soft-top convertible debuts solidify that the convertible industry is growing,” said Matt Williams, director of business development for the Haartz Corporation. “We’ve seen a number of new product debuts already this year and we are well positioned for continued growth.”

The special edition Beetle Denim features Haartz’ Twillfast RPC HT (high-tech) Weave. This material is an acoustically enhanced three-ply topping with acrylic twill weave facing, rubber inner-layer and polyester dobby backing.  The Denim top is a special offering.

The material is manufactured out of Haartz’ North American Headquarters in Acton, Massachusetts.
