SUMMARY:
Install and repair electrical facility systems and electrical components of industrial equipment by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Install control level wiring and electrical conduit for work orders and projects to repair or upgrade production machines and other equipment.
* Terminate power and control wiring to machines and equipment based on electrical drawings.
* Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical & control systems including PLC and I/O based systems, AC & DC drives, load cell and isolation amplifiers, transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, etc.
* Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunction with other maintenance workers and plant personnel to diagnose problems.
* Replace faulty electrical components on equipment such as relays, amplifiers, motors, drives, position sensors, and other control devices.
* Assist mechanical personnel when additional resources are needed.
* Work outside Mon-Fri 10-hour shifts based on Electrical coverage plan.
- Modify work schedule to accommodate other shift electricians being out.
- Rotation schedule for Saturdays.
* Work safely and follow all safety and environmental guidelines as specified by Haartz.
* Work in accordance to all Quality Systems principles and standards.
* Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
HOURS: 3:00 PM – 1 AM, Rotation schedule for Saturdays. (10% shift differential) Overtime paid after 8 hours not 40.

Skills Required:
Massachusetts Journeyman Electrical License. Must have a valid driver's license.
|
|
|
|
Education:
Journeyman electrician with preferred experience in Industrial electrical work. 3-5 years’ experience as a Journeyman electrician. Industrial experience required.
