World’s leading manufacturer of automotive trim supports the premier event for the automotive engineering community in N. America.

Acton, Mass. (April 3, 2014) – The Haartz Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of automotive soft trim materials, announced today its pending exhibition at the Society of Automotive Engineers Automotive World Congress at Cobo Center in Detroit, MI April 8-10, 2014.

Haartz will be exhibiting its full range of automotive interior and exterior trim products at Booth #1010 as well as supporting the Ride & Drive event with two iconic vehicles exhibiting Haartz advanced technologies for softtops.

Haartz convertible toppings are engineered to dispel the misconceptions of soft top convertibles. Combining the latest in textile and plastics technology, Haartz materials offer benefits on par with both coupes and retractable hard tops including all-season driving and superior acoustical and NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) performance, as well as optimized trunk space when the top is down.  These technologies will be showcased on both the Audi A5 cabrio with our Sonnenland® A5.B/DS acoustic topping and the Jeep Wrangler with our up-level Twillfast® RPC topping product during the Automotive World Congress Ride & Drive.

The interior trim exhibition will showcase the Soft-Tek® line of TPO-skinned soft-touch moldable laminates, Deploy™ TPO skins for non-scored Instrument Panels, and Alura® & Pellano® artificial leather products.  All are designed to offer the OE and Tier 1 Engineers and Designers the optimum level of flexibility for the vehicle cabins of the future.
