All-New 2016 Chevrolet Camaro features Haartz Convertible Topping
Acton, Massachusettes (July 12th, 2015): The Haartz Corporation (Haartz), a leading global manufacturer of soft top convertible material, announced it is supplying the convertible topping for the sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro. After the unveiling of the vehicle on Belle Isle in Detroit in May, the softtop convertible edition was announced today.
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro convertible softtop is equipped with the Haartz Twillfast RPC softtop technology. The Twillfast RPC uses a cut and sew process to complete the fabric laminate material. This three-ply topping with acrylic twill weave facing, rubber inner-layer and polyester dobby backing.
With three color options available – black, Kalahari beige and nightshadow blue – there’s plenty of body and topping combinations for each new Camaro owner to customize their vehicle.

Haartz has supplied the soft topping material on the Camaro convertible since the vehicle first appeared in 1967. The sixth generation will hit dealerships in the fall.
